Firstly, check this page to see if your school has been involved with DebateKC in the past! Then if your school is listed try to reach out to your administration about joining the team or restarting the program!

If your school isn't on the list, don't sweat it! Get in contact with a teacher, your school's activity director, or principal about what resources are available to you. Show them some of the schools that are a part of DebateKC and have them email Jane Rinehart at debatekansascity@gmail.com to discuss details and opportunities to aid in funding!

Teachers

Administrators

Debate can be very beneficial to your students! It teaches students public speaking and researching skills that will prepare them for the real world. Your students will have the opportunity to compete, become more confident in themselves, and bring home some shiny awards as they represent your school.

Not only that, but your students will also have a wide variety of different scholarship opportunities and have an easier transition into collegiate debate!
